In March 2019 I had the absolute honour of having a sitting with the late, amazing Midday Maestro, Mr Geoff Harvey. He was witty, funny and such an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He was super busy touring with the Senior Moments show but was so generous to agree to a sitting for the Archibald Prize.
I was treated to listening to Mr Harvey play piano, particularly Bach which he told me that he loved, while I sketched him and it was a sitting that I will never forget. He was an absolute professional, an immensely talented musician and will be a very missed gentleman by all that had the pleasure of his company.
